Optibelt to show new v-belt range at Hillhead show
Range of belts and tools to be shown by power transmission company
Global designers and manufacturers of fully integrated rubber and PU power transmission, timing, synchronous, conveyor and cleated belts, including linear positioning belts, Optibelt will be demonstrating their newly designed environmentally friendly and high performance Red Power-3 (v-belts) range.
Available in all the popular belt sizes, including SPA, SPB, SPC and SPZ, they are a direct drop-in replacement for conventional belts but are said to offer major performance advantages.
Optibelt say that the new Red Power-3 belts not only deliver up to a 50% higher power rating with 97% efficiency levels, but have also been designed to give a maintenance-free life of typically 25,000 hours, ie three years continuous, 24/7 running, with no re-tensioning required.
Optibelt will also be showing their latest range of technical tools. Popular amongst these will be the Optibelt – Laser Pointer II, a user friendly and time saving tool for setting and checking the exact alignment of belt drives, as well as the Optibelt TT, an all new, compact and universally applicable belt frequency tension tester, for all v-belts, ribbed belts and timing belt applications.
