North West Water expand into aggregates

North West Water have chosen Precia-Molen weighing systems for their move into the secondary aggregates market when they open sites at Oldham and Davyhulme, Manchester, for the processing and supply of a range of recycled products for use in road building.

Davyhulme has already been supplied with a VS300CS 18m weighbridge and a similar unit will be installed at Oldham in due course. North West Water specified 18m weighbridges as they wanted a system that would be suitable for weighing articulated tipping trucks as well as eight-wheeled rigid vehicles. Each weighbridge is fitted with a weighbridge terminal type T/2500 BBS and EK295 ticket printer.
