No-spillage loading chutes

Cleveland Cascades have introduced a new range of bulk material loading chutes designed for use with closed road and rail tankers and featuring a self-closing valve which allows movement of the chute without any dust or product escaping.

"Designed to handle a range of materials at loading rates of up to 250m³/h, the compact chutes allow installation where space is at a premium. They also feature dust extraction from the base of the chute rather than the top for maximum efficiency. A material-detection system, based on a capacitance effect, is also offered."

"The chute has been developed in conjunction with Buxton Lime Industries where, for several months, it has been trialled loading quicklime fine powder."
