New UK board appointment at SLR

David Sandbrook

Planning and development specialist David Sandbrook appointed to consultancy’s management board

ENVIRONMENTAL firm SLR Consulting have appointed David Sandbrook to their UK management board as director responsible for the company’s Planning & Estate Management, Highway & Transportation, Archaeology & Cultural Heritage, and Acoustics teams.

Mr Sandbrook (pictured), who joined SLR in 2004, has more than 25 years’ experience and is a Chartered Town Planner, Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying as well as a Chartered Wastes Manager.

 

Working mostly out of the company’s Nottingham and London offices, he is a specialist in the development and valuation of brownfield sites and mineral, renewable energy and waste-management properties.

He is also a RICS Registered Valuer and regularly provides expert witness support on a range of property-related issues.

SLR UK managing director Alan Edwards said: ‘Last year saw us being recognized as a UK top-10 planning and environmental impact assessment (EIA) consultancy for the first time, after reporting a 12% increase in fee income.

‘There is no doubt that David has made a significant contribution to this performance and to the growth of our UK business over the last decade. We welcome him to the board.’
