New ‘Stay COVID-19 Alert’ posters

New posters

MPA continuing to help industry stay COVID-19 alert and secure with additional posters

WITH COVID-19 levels rising across the UK, the Mineral Products Association (MPA) recognizes the importance of maintaining the health and safety disciplines that will be essential to keep everyone COVID secure and safe and healthy at work.

To assist members with the ongoing need to remind all employees of these disciplines, the MPA has produced some additional posters to help reinforce the key messages. Developing the theme used in MPA’s ‘10 Rules of Engagement’, the posters remind individuals to ‘Stay COVID-19 Alert’.

The four new posters (pictured) use the following: an allusion to the ‘Game of Thrones’ – ‘Winter is coming’; the Government’s campaign slogan – ‘Hands, Face, Space’; the gambling theme originally used in the LOTOTO posters; and the ‘Rules of Engagement’.

The new posters along with the earlier Managers and Employees COVID-19 Guides can be downloaded free of charge from Safequarry.com

MPA chief executive Nigel Jackson said: ‘The mineral products sector is recognized by the government as being essential in its own right and as such it is incumbent upon the industry to make every effort to be and stay COVID secure for the foreseeable future.

‘We must assume that we will need to stay alert with COVID in our lives well into next year and learn to adapt to ensure businesses can continue to operate whilst protecting vital jobs. Without our products the Government will struggle to deliver its ambitions for infrastructure and housing delivery.’
