Hitachi Construction Machinery UK welcomes new product support manager for Scotland

HITACHI Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) have announced the appointment of a new product support manager for Scotland. Iain McDowall joins HCMUK after a decade spent within the plant hire sector holding similar managerial roles at other high-profile companies.

Mr McDowall (pictured) is highly experienced in customer service, heavy plant machinery, the operational and planning logistics of field service engineers, and has worked in Scotland throughout his career, which complements his new position at HCMUK.

 

Commenting on his new role, he said: ‘I am absolutely delighted to be joining Hitachi. I regard them as a market leader in construction machinery who are renowned for providing top-quality, reliable machines.

‘I do believe that this is the perfect time to be joining Hitachi due to the potential for growth within the Scotland area.’

Product support director Stephen Creaser said: ‘HCMUK are delighted to welcome Iain to the product support team as we continue to invest in Scotland.

‘Bringing a wealth of customer support experience in Scotland with him and a background in plant maintenance, I’m confident that Iain will quickly establish himself and be a success in his new role.’
