New Scania tippers for Central

Central Construction Services add five new Scania P360 tipper vehicles to their delivery fleet

CENTRAL Construction Services have added five new eight-wheel tipper vehicles to their 30-strong delivery fleet. The Midlands-based aggregate suppliers and muck-shifters have made a £500,00 investment in the Scania P360 vehicles as work levels start to rise.

Commercial director Steven Bennett said: ‘We believe in continued investment in our tipper fleet and believe that by increasing the number of vehicles we own, we can service our current and growing customer base better.’

The P360 tippers have been added to the current large fleet of Scania vehicles as the company continues its long relationship with the manufacturer.

‘We looked long and hard at the other options available to us but believe the specification of the Scania vehicle coupled with the Abba tipper body is still the best combination for the type of work we do,’ said Mr Bennett.

Central operate from their premises in Coalville, Leicestershire, delivering a wide range of stone, sand and topsoil throughout the Midlands, while also engaging in muck-shifting activities.

They are also continuing their successful partnership with A R Aggregates in the supply of recycled aggregates from the Leicester Urban Quarry, situated in the heart of the city.

‘With so many of our clients wanting to buy good-quality recycled aggregate to meet the various BREEAM projects in the county, it is imperative both ourselves and A R Aggregates continue to meet the demands of our clients,’ said Mr Bennett.

‘With this in mind, we are very pleased to announce that one of the new vehicles will boast the livery of ‘The Leicester Urban Quarry’.
