New sales director for Blue Group
Former Powerscreen Pegson international sales director Andrew Dakin takes on new role
BLUE Group have appointed Andrew Dakin as sales director for their Quarrying and Mining Division, with specific responsibility for major accounts for Powerscreen crushing and screening plant and Telestack conveyors, for which Blue Group are a main distributor in England, Scotland and Wales.
Mr Dakin has more than 33 years’ experience in the industry, initially in quarrying operations and followed by 30 years with Powerscreen Pegson, nine of which were as international sales director.
Commenting on Mr Dakin’s appointment, Blue Group chairman Pat McGeary said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Andrew to Blue Group. He is a well-known industry figure and brings considerable experience and expertise to our quarrying and mining core business.’
