New mini paver from Vogele
Vogele’s Super 600 was launched in 2006 and now, four years later, the Super 700 has been launched to supersede it. The new mini paver retains the small dimensions of its predecessor, but offers higher performance figures. The main gain is the larger maximum pave width of 3.2m. The Super 700 also has a larger 45kW Deutz engine.
With a track width of just 1.1m and a clearance width of 1.2m, the Super 700 allows contractors to handle a wide range of paving applications. The machine is suitable for small- and medium-sized contracts, such as backfilling trenches, paving footpaths and cycle paths or surfacing small traffic areas and minor roads. Its manoeuvrability and compact dimensions also make it suitable for paving underground car parks and for use in the landscaping sector
The AB 200 V extending screed (with vibrators in the basic screed and extending units) has been specially designed for use with the Super 700. The screed has a basic width of 1.1m and extends hydraulically up to 2m. By addition of bolt-on extensions, the AB 200 V builds up to a maximum pave width of 3.2m.
A special system for pave width reduction has been developed for jobs smaller than the screed’s basic width of 1.1m. This system allows the pave width of the AB 200 V to be reduced continuously from 1.1m to 0.5m, without the need for conversion. As the screed also floats on the mix with the system for pave width reduction fitted, optimal pre-compaction values are achieved at all times and manual work is reduced to a minimum.
Just like the larger Vogele screeds, the AB 200 V also comes with electric screed heating. This ensures uniform distribution of the heat across the screed plates of the basic screed, the extending units and bolt-on extensions.
