New mid-range skid-steer loaders from Bobcat

Bobcat have introduced three new models to their skid-steer loader range — the S130, S150 and S160.

The S130 and S150 replace the previous 753 and 763 models, while the S160 has been added to expand the range.

All three loaders are said to offer high productivity, combined with enhanced operator comfort and convenience. The rated operating capacity of the S130 is 600kg with a tipping load of 1,200kg and a lift height of 2,771mm. Both the S150 and S160 models have a rated operating capacity of 700kg, a tipping load of 1,452kg and a lift height of 2,908mm. All three machines offer reduced cycle times and faster travel speeds.

The S150 and S160 loaders feature radius-path lift arms and a long wheelbase for a smoother ride. The hydraulic system has been re-engineered on both models for increased breakout force. In addition, the machines are now equipped with dual-tilt cylinders, opening up room in front of the loaders and resulting in better visibility to attachments and easier cab entry and exit.

The S130 is powered by a Tier II Kubota V2203-E diesel engine producing 34.3kW of power at 2,800 rev/min. The S150 is powered by a normally aspirated-version of the Kubota V2203-M Tier II diesel engine rated at 35kW, and the S160 is driven by a 42kW Tier II turbocharged Kubota V2003T liquid-cooled diesel engine. All models feature increased hydraulic pump capacity for enhanced attachment performance.
