New MEKA concrete plant for Capital Concrete

Capital Concrete’s new MEKA MB300 batching plant

Berkshire Engineering Supplies install state-of-the-art MEKA MB300 plant in Wembley

BERKSHIRE Engineering Supplies Ltd (BES) have recently installed their latest and most innovative MEKA MB300 concrete batching plant for Capital Concrete in Wembley, London.

The MEKA MB300 batching plant is the latest in state-of-the-art ‘green’ concrete batching technology with output capabilities of up to 300 cubic metres per hour.

The MEKA MB300 incorporates ‘green’ inverter controls for the plant’s pair of 5 cubic metre twin-shaft mixers, batch conveyor and pre-feeding conveyors, to provide managed power consumption during production, limiting the power demands of the site.

The plant design also incorporates the innovative MEKA high-capacity aggregate storage facility, which includes six 120-tonne storage bins, each with independent weighing for accurate, simultaneous weighing of each aggregate, plus six large independent cement storage silos.

BES say Capital Concrete’s investment in this ‘green’, state-of-the-art technology is a significant statement of intent in one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious concrete supply markets.
