New managing director for AUMUND

Jörg Hoffmann appointed as a member of the management at AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH

AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH have announced the appointment of Jörg Hoffmann (pictured) as a member of the company’s management team.

Mr Hoffmann was previously a member of the management at SCHADE Lagertechnik, in Herne, which belongs to the AUMUND Group.

In conjunction with Franz-Walter Aumund and Dr Volker Brandenburg, he will now assume responsibility for the operational side of the AUMUND business.

Mr Hoffmann’s professional career commenced in 1998 in the role of sales manager at SMS AG in Hilchenbach. After further positions of responsibility in the US and as a management board member both in China and Canada, he returned to Germany.

In December 2008 he assumed a new management role at SCHADE Lagertechnik, a leading manufacturer of equipment for bulk material stockyards and blending beds.

In his new position at AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH he will be responsible for expanding the company’s international operations, focusing on intensive co-operation with subsidiary companies in sales, purchasing and service, as well as on the opening of new markets.

Together with managing partner Franz-Walter Aumund, Dr Volker Brandenburg has been a management member at AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH since 2008. He is responsible for the finance, production and administration aspects of the business.
