New Irish dealership for Bell Equipment

BELL Equipment UK have signed a new agreement with Sleator Plant for the distribution of articulated dumptrucks (ADTs) and wheel loaders in Ireland.

Sleator, who are part of the Ballyvesey Holdings group of companies, have bases in Belfast and Dublin, and will act as Bell’s dealer both north and south of the border.

Bell say the move forms part of a wider reorganization of the company’s business strategy across Europe, particularly following the introduction of the new Bell wheel loader range.

Commenting on the agreement, Neville Paynter, managing director of Bell Equipment UK, said: ‘We’re delighted to have agreed this partnership approach in Ireland with Sleator Plant.

‘Sleator have an excellent reputation both north and south of the border, which we hope will strengthen the Bell brand and product offering in Ireland going forward.

‘Ireland is an important market for Bell, so it’s essential that we have a dealer capable of delivering a service that reflects the high quality of our products.’

Under the agreement, Sleator Plant will provide Bell customers in Ireland with the same parts, servicing and maintenance service that is enjoyed by customers in mainland Britain. The company will also deal with Bell warranty liabilities in Ireland on behalf of Bell Equipment UK Ltd.

Dermot Cunnie, general manager of Sleator Plant, said: ‘We’ve looked at the ADT market for some time and Bell is the product that has impressed us the most. We’re very pleased to have been selected as the company’s dealer in Ireland.’
