New HPC Kaeser portable compressors
The new M64 and M80 compressors from HPC Kaeser have a free-air delivery of 6.4m3/min (226cfm) and 8.1m3/min (286cfm) at 7 bar respectively.
When operating in compressor mode only, the M64 delivers 6.4m3/min, which is 20% more than an average compressor in its class. A 10 bar(g) maximum working pressure version is also available that provides a free-air delivery of 5m3/min with simultaneous operation of the 8.5kW generator.
The M80 provides a free-air delivery of 8.1m3/min on the standard model. With the generator running it provides 6.9m3/min (with the 8.5kW generator) and 6.2m3/min (with the 13kW generator) at 7 bar. It is also available as a 10 bar pressure version that provides 6.1m3/min (8.5kW) and 5.5m3 (13kW) with simultaneous operation of the respective generators.
A feature of both units is a specially designed, large, low-speed SIGMA profile air-end, which is said to use 15% less energy compared with conventional designs and ensures increased free-air delivery with quiet operation. The air end is directly driven by a new-generation, water-cooled, two-litre, four-cylinder Kubota V2003T-iDi turbocharged diesel engine that produces 58.5kW (79hp) in the M80.
Both units feature large fuel tanks (105 litres and 150 litres respectively) to allow uninterrupted operation during long shifts. Soundproofing ensures quiet operation and keeps noise levels below 98dB(A).
User-friendly picture icons/instructions and simple control switches simplify operation, while gull-wing canopy panels improve servicing and routine maintenance tasks.
An anti-frost device for condensate-free air protects air tools against freezing and corrosion. A comprehensive range of optional equipment is also available including: an integral tool lubricator, an aftercooler, a centrifugal separator, compressed-air filters, and a special air distributor.
