New Hitachi dealer for Estonia

New Hitachi dealer for Estonia

Rotator Oy, HCME’s official dealer in Finland, to take over responsibility for Estonian market

HITACHI Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) have appointed a new dealer for their customers in Estonia following the recent signing of an agreement with Rotator Oy, HCME’s official dealers in Finland.

Due to the proximity of the two countries, and similarities in their languages and cultures, Rotator were considered to be the logical choice to take over responsibility for the Estonian market from previous dealers Laadur.

Rotator Estonia will offer the entire range of Hitachi construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders and dumptrucks. Their headquarters, featuring a workshop and parts depot, will be based in Tallinn.

HCME say the Estonian market is predominantly focused on construction, but also has potential in the mining and quarrying industries.

Rotator recently celebrated their 60th anniversary and have worked with Hitachi in Finland for more than three decades, helping to establish the brand’s reputation for high levels of performance and reliability.

‘We have always aimed to be a distributor for the best products and provide a first-class after-sales service,’ said managing director Thomas Åhman (pictured left). ‘We are proud to represent Hitachi, our partner during the past 30 years, in Estonia.’

HCME’s president and CEO, Moriaki Kadoya (pictured right), added that Rotator’s professional after-sales service and expertise would be great assets in setting up the new dealership in Estonia.

His comments were echoed by Rotator Estonia’s new managing director, Aleksander Vares, who said: ‘Rotator’s business model and after-sales emphasis will strongly support us in establishing a strong support network to our customers.’
