New Geith pallet-fork attachment for excavators

Geith pallet fork attachment

Company launches new attachment for wheeled and tracked excavators from 8 to 21 tonnes in weight

GEITH, specialists in the design and manufacture of couplers and attachment products for excavators, have launched a new pallet-fork attachment for wheeled and tracked excavators from 8 to 21 tonnes in weight.

The robust pallet-fork attachment increases the versatility of wheeled and tracked excavators by allowing them to pick up and handle pallets – an important advantage on sites that are inaccessible to telescopic handlers.

Moreover, the 360-degree rotation of the excavator provides a larger working envelope for the pallet fork compared with a telescopic handler.

The pallet-fork attachment, which can be mounted via a coupler or directly on to the excavator, features tines that can be moved across the length of the rack.

Locking pins prevent the tines from moving once in place on the rack. The tines can be easily removed through the centre of the bottom rack.

According to Geith, the high-quality tines have a safety factor of 3:1, while the mounting frame uses gussets and a box section design for additional strengthening.
