New flashback arrestor
Witt, the gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment suppliers, have launched ‘85-20’, a flashback arrestor for medium-range users of acetylene and other oxy-fuel gases.
85-20 offers users a compact design with a length of around 130mm and a diameter of 62mm. Two versions are available, one with a box nut for connection to tapping points and the other with a female thread for installation into pipes. With its focus on the medium-performance range, this new model offers significant cost benefits for users with medium gas consumption requirements (up to around 45m3/h).
Flashback arrestors, meeting EN 730, are used in gas welding, cutting and burning applications. High-quality flashback arrestors offered by Witt feature triple protection with a non-return gas valve, flame arrestor and cut-off valve, which avoid the formation and ignition of explosive gases.
