New feeder stacker from McCloskey

McCloskey SF50 feeder stacker

Company expands its portable conveying equipment range with latest SF50 tracked stacker

McCLOSKEY International have strengthened their growing portable material-handling solutions line-up with the launch of the new SF50 feeder stacker.

The tracked stacker unit is compact and versatile in its use; handling and stockpiling a range of materials including aggregates, coal, C&D waste, sand and gravel, topsoil and compost. All can be fed into the hopper with large loaders and excavators, combining the efficiency of a high-capacity hopper with a stacking conveyor.

Powered by a 74hp Caterpillar C2.8 engine, the SF50 features variable-speed control which prevents material from building up, allowing for more controlled flow of material. Other key features of the feeder stacker include: a 50ft long main conveyor with 40in wide belt; 3.5m tracks for easy manoeuvrability and stability; and a hydraulically adjustable discharge height of up to 6.5m.

When moving from one site to another, the SF50 can also be compacted for transportation on a low loader, or loaded in a 40ft cube container, reducing overall costs and logistics.

The tracked stacker offers improved efficiency and fuel economy, and is available in a variety of power options, ranging from diesel/hydraulic and electric/hydraulic to diesel/electric and diesel with genset.
