Ray Tregale to take over as managing director from Mel Henry who is retiring after 29 years at the helm

MEL Henry (pictured left), managing director of level and pressure measurement specialists VEGA Controls, is to step down from his role after 29 years, during which time he has led the company through a period of sustained growth.

He will be succeeded by Ray Tregale (pictured right), who was southern regional sales manager for 13 years and has more than 33 years’ experience in the instrumentation business, in roles ranging from apprentice to technical sales and management.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Tregale said: ‘It is a challenge and an honour for me to be taking over from Mel; he has established one of the most successful and respected companies in the level and pressure measurement sector. My priority will be to continue the customer service we are known for and sustain our strong growth across a broad range of industries.’

Graeme Cross, who was previously the northern regional sales manager for VEGA Controls, will now assume the role of overall UK sales manger.
