Murray Brown & Son choose Hino tipper

North Yorkshire-based Murray Brown & Son have taken delivery of a Hino 700 Series 8x4 tipper. The new vehicle, fitted with Harsh underfloor tipping equipment and a Townsend tipping body, is being used to carry lime and aggregates from a quarry in Scarborough to locations in York, Hull and Teesside.

The company has specified their latest fleet addition with an optional roof-light bar, autolube system, air-conditioning and twin flashing beacons.

Murray Brown & Son director Mel Brown, who ordered the tipper at last year’s Tip Ex exhibition, said: ‘It has been on the road continually since its arrival, and we are looking to order a second identical truck. The driver is really pleased with the responsive operation of the 700 Series and its cab design, which is important as our employees spend a lot of time on the road.’

The tipper was purchased from franchised Hino dealer Haverton Trucks, a division of North East Truck & Van (NETV).
