MST expand bucket repair operations

MST, specialists in bespoke attachments and servicing in the excavation sector, have expanded their operations with the introduction of a new, dedicated bucket repair/reconditioning division.

Increased industry demand in recent years has encouraged MST to broaden their activities to cater for those who need quick response and servicing of current stock, as Mike Fenwick, product manager, explained: ‘There are a large number of companies who need to update their equipment but, due to time restraints or budgets, cannot afford to replace old with new. In these situations, we have found reconditioned or repaired buckets offer a quick and cost-effective solution to worn, broken or malfunctioning excavation or clearing tools.’

MST’s bucket repair service offers a speedy turnaround time with most jobs being completed within 48h. The company’s new division also offers a full range of loan buckets to ensure that any downtime is kept to a minimum. Added to that is the company’s new, free site inspection service.

Mr Fenwick continued: ‘Our aim with all these measures is to ensure MST offer the most comprehensive service to anyone who has excavation or bucket attachments at work on their site, no matter how big or small the job or the machine. We strongly believe that anything that reduces the threat of downtime and the fear of surprise breakages or unplanned hold-ups is going to be welcomed by the industry.’

The new repair division complements MST’s long-established undercarriage reconditioning and repair service at their headquarters in Birtley, Co. Durham.
