Miller appoint new finance director

Leigh Dobson succeeds Chris Parkin, who is retiring after 24 years with Miller Ground-breaking

MILLER Ground-breaking have appointed Leigh Dobson as finance director to succeed Chris Parkin, who recently announced his retirement after 24 years working for Miller. This senior appointment will see Mr Dobson join the company at a time of accelerated growth, as Miller continue to develop their management team to meet ambitious plans for international expansion and support the next stage of the company’s evolution.

Mr Dobson (pictured) will be responsible for Miller’s overall financial strategic direction, contributing to the next stage of expansion and financial success. He brings with him a wealth of industry-related financial experience and management skills which he will leverage to drive efficiencies and profitability for Miller, working together with departments across the business.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Dobson said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining Miller as finance director at this point in the company’s journey. I am passionate about working within the manufacturing sector and believe Miller have a great opportunity to continue to cement their leading position in the UK earthmoving attachments market, as well as plans to grow through new opportunities globally.’
