Metso Minerals to sell Buell air classifiers
METSO Minerals and Buell, a division of US firm Fisher-Klosterman Inc., have signed an agreement for the sale of Buell air classification equipment in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (except South Africa).
Based in Pennsylvania, Buell manufacture a wide range of filler classification systems for cement, sand and industrial mineral applications. The company’s product range includes gravitational classifiers, gravitational inertial classifiers, centrifugal classifiers and cyclones for the removal of fine material from coarser sand products.
With the construction products industry looking for opportunities to use more manufactured sand in the production of concrete and asphalt, Metso Minerals say Buell’s dry air classification products, which are available both for stationary and mobile crushing and screening processes, offer effective process solutions for the removal of –0.075mm filler from manufactured sand, with low operational cost and minimal environmental impact.
