McLanahan appoint first VP of manufacturing

Mark Slonaker to oversee all manufacturing operations as part of company’s plans for expansion and growth

AS part of the company’s expansion and growth, quarry plant and equipment manufacturers McLanahan Corporation have appointed Mark Slonaker as their first vice-president of manufacturing.

In this new role, Mr Slonaker will oversee manufacturing operations at all US-based locations to ensure production meets required deadlines and the quality standards of an ISO-certified company, all within the operational budget.

 

He will also help to maintain safe standards and corporate objectives while making sure that, as the company continues to grow, manufacturing capabilities are in place to meet and exceed all industry and customer requirements.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Slonaker (pictured) said: ‘I am most looking forward to the opportunity to work with and the development of the dedicated team of employees at McLanahan, who exhibit a real passion for building a world-class product.’

Based at McLanahan’s corporate headquarters in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, Mr Slonaker has extensive manufacturing and engineering experience having previously served as vice-president of manufacturing for F.L. Smithe Machine Company and as vice-president of engineering for Blair Companies.
