McCrory go mobile

CONCRETE plant manufacturers McCrory Engineering are to celebrate their 20th anniversary in business with the launch of the all-new MCM60 mobile batching plant.

Already well known for their ‘modular’ and ‘plug and play’ systems, Co. Tyrone-based McCrory Engineering will introduce their new plant at an open day being held at the company’s Ballygawley premises on Friday 10 September 2010.

The new MCM60 plant is completely self-erecting and requires no cranes or lifting gear. It can be set up and ready to produce concrete within 1h. And unlike static or semi-mobile batching plants, there is no need for major site preparation, such as a concrete base; any level compacted ground is sufficient.

McCrory say a number of models will be available, starting with the basic MCM60 (60 cubic metres per hour) which requires an on-site power supply, through to models with on-board generators, storage tanks and pumps, as well as additional high-output mobile units incorporating mobile low-level silos.

Several companies who supply McCrory Engineering with major components, such as pan mixers, cement handling systems, control systems and environmental products, will also be present at the open day.

In addition, block machine manufacturers McGirr Engineering will be on hand together with their latest equipment, and Moyle Engineering will be demonstrating their new precast concrete handling and vibrating system.
