Manitou announce new divisional president

Eric Lambert becomes new president of the group’s rough terrain handling division

MANITOU have announced the appointment of Eric Lambert (pictured) as the new president of the group’s RTH (rough terrain handling) division. He succeeds Christian Caleca, who recently left the company.

Jean-Christophe Giroux, president and CEO, commented: ‘Eric Lambert brings a fresh look, a manufacturing background and a personal leadership, which together represent real assets for our operational recovery.’

Mr Lambert said: ‘I am very excited to join a proven market leader with still untapped growth potential. I am also eager to join a dynamic and ambitious leadership team, and to work in the RTH operational chain for better support of our dealers and customers.’

Mr Lambert was previously managing director of Alstom Grid, specialists in power transmission, and has worked for Renault for 15 years in a variety of roles.
