Management software for multiple belt weighers

Avery Weigh-Tronix claim to have introduced the UK’s first software package specifically aimed at users of multiple dynamic belt weighers, allowing central monitoring and reporting of multiple material movements and flow rates from several locations.

They say the software is easy to configure and can be integrated into a central control system. Flow rates and total rate data is displayed in either tonnes per hour or kilogrammes per hour. The system will link up to 16 belt weighers simultaneously with data from up to eight displayed on a PC screen at the same time. Information is provided in real time and reports can be generated for any specific time or date. This information includes flow rate and total flow trends and can be viewed in numerical or graphical format. The software will run on Windows XP using an SQL database.

Communications options include serial RS485 or via an adaptor, RS232, USB or Ethernet. Links can be point to point or multi-drop.
