Management buyout at Capital Seating

Long-serving management team takes over running of specialist industrial seating supplier

SEATING specialists Capital Seating have announced the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO), with three long-serving managers taking ownership and running the company.

Swann Systems (UK) Ltd was established in 1968 and their Capital Seating division specializes in the supply and distribution of suspension seats for a wide variety of industry sectors including construction and material handling. They are the UK partner of the Grammer, KAB, United Seats and Pilot brands.

Capital Seating offer a wide variety of seating solutions for all types of construction and material handling machinery, providing independent advice and tailored solutions for all customer sectors including manufacturers, dealers and directly to the construction community. They have substantial stock holdings of popular seat models here in the UK, including the Grammer Actimo and MSG95 ranges, KAB 500 & 600 Series, and United CS and LGV products. They also stock replacement parts for original equipment seats to support seat repairs and refurbishments.

The new management team includes operations director Darren Tuckey, finance director Melinda Tyack, and commercial director Joe Beales, who have a combined experience of more than 60 years.
