Dutch-based OTR tyre specialist opens North American office as part of worldwide expansion plan

MAGNA Tyres Group are expanding their worldwide administration and distribution network, starting with a new office on the North American continent, in Canada.

The new facility is designed to open up an entire new market, making it possible for even more clients in Canada and the US to use Magna Tyres products.

According to the company, rapid growth in recent years has made expansion necessary to provide local support on a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week basis.

Michael de Ruijter, chief executive officer of Magna Tyres Group, commented said the company took a great deal of care in choosing this location for our new office.

‘It will further strengthen our commitment to all customers in the region and is an opportunity for close daily co-operation,’ he commented.

‘Clients in the area will benefit from closer and even more personalized attention, and product availability will increase because stocks will be locally maintained.

‘The objective is to increase market share and to focus on improving customer relationships and satisfaction in this high-potential region.’

Alex Vitale (pictured), an accomplished leader with 20 years’ experience in general management, sales and marketing for some of the major brands in the tyre industry, has been appointed as general manager of the new Canada regional office located in Ontario.
