Machine health check

Previously only available to larger organisations, The Oil Lab offer a service for smaller companies which analyses oil used in all types of machinery.

An independent lab, The Oil Lab have many years' experience in spotting wear trends. By having oil checked at regular intervals, potential problems can be anticipated and prevented, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The test also shows if the oil is in good condition and is still suitable for use. All the contaminants in an oil sample, including wear metals, down to parts per million, can be identified using sophisticated analytical equipment.

Complete sampling kits are supplied which include a sample bottle, oil extraction syringe and pre-paid address label. After sending the sample to the lab, a report is sent back to the customer within 48h.
