Longcliffe appoint first HR manager
Samantha Gaunt has been confirmed as the company’s first human resources manager
LEADING calcium carbonates company Longcliffe Quarries Ltd have appointed Samantha Gaunt as the company’s first human resources manager, strengthening the business’s commitment to its employees and future growth.
Ms Gaunt brings more than 10 years of HR experience in manufacturing and consultancy, and is passionate about linking industry with education. She is a STEM Ambassador, a trustee at Brighter Mansfield – an award-winning local charity – and holds a life coach diploma alongside her HR qualifications.
At Longcliffe, Ms Gaunt will support the 190-strong workforce with career development, wellbeing, and talent recruitment. She will also promote careers at Longcliffe to attract and retain the best people.
Ms Gaunt commented: ‘I am delighted to join this highly respected family-owned company. I am already getting to know the people and understand the wide-ranging product portfolio, and I look forward to developing the team for the future.’
