JPE Aggregates to host demonstration days

Midlands quarry operator to host a series of demonstration events in Birmingham

THE demonstration events are being organized following the recent purchase of a CDE construction and demolition waste recycling plant, which has a capacity of 100 tonnes/h with the capability to produce single washed sand at 70 tonnes/h.

The new washing plant for JPE Aggregates includes an M2500 mobile washing plant, AggMax attrition system and AquaCycle thickener.

‘We are hosting these demonstration day events to show our customers the quality of recycled materials that this new plant is able to produce,’ explained Steven Birch, manager director of JPE. ‘The specification of these materials has greatly increased the range of projects to which we can supply materials.’

In addition to UK visitors and representatives from CDE Global, a number of international visitors are expected to attend the demonstration events. ‘The new washing plant for JPE Aggregates has attracted a lot of interest from companies based in this country, as well as from operators in the European markets,’ commented Terry Ashby, director of CDE operations in the UK market.

Visitors to the demonstration days will be able to see how material is fed through the M2500 mobile washing plant, which incorporates feeding, screening and sand washing on a compact chassis. The sand-washing element is achieved via an integrated EvoWash sand plant, while a 9m conveyor stockpiles the material.

The aggregate is then delivered to the AggMax attrition system, which includes a RotoMax RX80 Logwasher and double-deck rinsing screen. The inclusion of the AquaCycle thickner allows for the recycling of 90% of the water used in the washing process.

The demonstration events will be hosted during the week beginning 28 February 2011. For further information, contact Peter Craven at CDE Global on tel: (028) 8676 7900; or via email: pcraven@cdeglobal.com
