Irish Inspections
The Health and Safety Authority of the Republic of Ireland is advising all quarry operators and vehicle suppliers that it intends to hold a concentrated series of inspections during 12-16 June 2000. The inspections are part of an initiative which will address the following hazards: falls from quarry faces; vehicle accidents; shotfirng misfires/flyrock and dangerous occurrences.
