IExpE 40th anniversary Journal Awards 2014

Institute of Explosives Engineers offering cash prizes for best papers on explosive-related topics

TO mark an important milestone celebration, the Institute of Explosives Engineers (IExpE) is running a 40th anniversary Journal Awards competition, which is open to both members and non-members of the Institute.

Six cash prizes of £500 each are to be awarded for the best papers or articles on explosive-related topics. The prizes will be awarded in the following four categories:

  • General public, academics, students, non-members of IExpE
  • Associate members of IExpE
  • Members of IExpE (three prizes)
  • Fellows of IExpE.

 

The deadline for entries is 30 November 2013 and submissions should be made in the form of a Word document of no more than 3,500 words. The results of the competition will be published in the March 2014 edition of Explosives Engineering magazine.
