HHIE to introduce Hi-Mate

HYUNDAI Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) are introducing Hi-Mate, their exclusive remote management system which uses GPS technology to allow machine owners to track, trace and monitor their Hyundai fleet.

Hi-Mate uses GPS and GIS technology to pinpoint the exact location of, and to retrieve data from, Hyundai equipment at any location, at any time. The input is analyzed on HHI’s main server and used to feed the Hi-Mate online application through which users can access the system.

The application allows users to visualize the machine’s location as well as check on performance indicators such as fuel consumption, coolant temperature, pump pressure etc. It is also possible to diagnose machine problems online and even to completely shut down the machine, making it impossible to operate in cases of unauthorized use or theft.

HHIE say Hi-Mate users will be able to easily check operators’ driving habits and the equipment’s maintenance status, allowing pare parts stock and logistics management to be better synchronized, as well as limiting machine maintenance and downtime.

Hi-Mate will also allow Hyundai service engineers to better assist in the event of a malfunction of the hydraulic system, electric system or engine, giving added security and peace of mind to owners and operators.

HHIE plan to include Hi-Mate hardware as standard in their Dash-9 Series construction machines when they are introduced in Europe, allowing owners to initiate subscription to the software at any time.
