H.E. Services add Manitou telehandler to their fleet

Manitou MT625 compact telehandler

H.E. Services have added a Manitou MT625 compact telehandler to their diverse range of market-leading construction machinery. They have a fleet of over 2,000 items of plant available from their 11 nationwide depots, with the head office located in Strood, Kent.

The dimensions of the Manitou MT625 with a width and height of less than 2m is suited to working in restricted site areas. The turning circle of 3m maximizes the manoeuvrability of the machine and a ground clearance of 33cm allows the MT625 to operate on uneven ground and over ramps and obstacles.

Powered by a Kubota four-cylinder, 75hp (55.4 kW) engine, the MT625 features a hydrostatic transmission that provides flexible and progressive control, adapting to the operators requirements.  Despite its compact size the MT625 delivers a 2,500kg load capacity and achieves a maximum lift height of 5.85m.

The decision to add the MT625 to their fleet came as part of H.E. Services’ promise to offer only the latest technology and continue to supply a diverse range of telehandlers. With a growing interest in small- to medium-sized telehandlers the Manitou MT625 was a suitable addition.

Peter Durey, managing director of H.E. Services, commented: ‘Our aim at H.E. Services is to provide an extensive range of hire equipment including excavators, backhoe loaders, dumpers and telehandlers from our national depot locations. Good service and reliable machinery never goes out of fashion and despite the fluctuations of a challenging marketplace our experience of over 40 years is invaluable to react to customer needs and market trends.’

Manitou dealers, Glosrose Construction of Hollingbourne, near Maidstone, supplied the new MT625 Manitou. The half a million pound deal with H.E. Services is an early success for Glosrose Construction who are earning themselves an excellent reputation for service and parts support to Manitou’s customer base in their area.
