FTA publishes 2013 Yearbook

Freight Transport Association releases 51st edition of its guide to road transport law

THE Freight Transport Association has published the 2013 edition of its Yearbook of Road Transport Law, designed to keep highway operators fully aware of all aspects of road transport legislation. Sponsored by Shell, the publication is presented in a clear and concise way, and includes information on other relevant areas such as employment and health and safety.

Written and compiled by FTA’s team of transport legislation experts, the guide has been updated with recent changes to road transport law, including: new operator licensing rules; driver licensing; weights and dimensions; traffic regulations; and the latest amendments to the OCRS rules.

Aisha Hayatuddini, marketing manager at Shell Commercial Fleet, commented: ‘Compliance is a core pillar of Shell’s business principles and I cannot stress enough just how important and useful the FTA Yearbook of Road Transport Law is for anyone who runs a road transport fleet. It’s definitely the most thumped-through guide on most desks and Shell are delighted to be sponsoring the 2013 edition.’

One free Yearbook will be delivered to every FTA member during January. Additional copies, priced at £40 per copy for FTA members or £79 per copy for non-members (with discounts for multiple orders), are available from Shopfta on tel: 08717 111111 (quote product code 4501).
