FRC enjoy ‘phenomenal success’ at Hillhead

FLEET Risk Consultants (FRC), the Mansfield-based risk-management consultancy, have reported a record number of enquiries and unprecedented levels of interest as a result of their recent attendance at Hillhead 2010 in Buxton.

As it was the consultancy’s first ever attendance at the iconic show, managing director Nigel Grainger said he was astounded by the level of interest in FRC’s services.

‘The show was a phenomenal success for us,’ he enthused. ‘We have definite orders for our Road Risk Management Solutions, we were unable to cope with attendance levels at our tachograph seminars, and we have had definite enquiries which will lead to more business over the coming months.’

FRC offer a variety of services aiding companies of all sizes with their fleet vehicles, and Hillhead 2010 was seen as an ideal occasion to promote these services within the construction and mineral extraction industries. Their services range from training, tachograph legislation advice, expert witness provision and collision investigation to all aspects of fleet acquisition and disposal.

An increasingly important feature of FRC’s business has been in corporate risk-management solutions, and to this end FRC took advantage of Hillhead to launch a brand new Fleet Risk Management Solution for businesses. The product is essentially a policy that provides in-built protection for drivers and employers to cover the use of cars and/or vans in connection with business, regardless of who is the owner of the vehicle.

Mr Grainger added: ‘Hillhead was so successful for us, and industry people were so keen to learn about their rights and liabilities, that I’ve already taken steps to book my stand for 2012.’
