Eriez to present new overband magnet at Hillhead 2014

CP overband magnet

Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd, a leading authority in separation technologies, will be presenting their brand new suspended permanent magnet, the CPRE, at Hillhead 2014, the international quarrying, construction and recycling show held between 24 and 26 June 2014.

Eriez’s new Rare Earth permanent overband magnet provides an alternative solution to the mobile market. Sixty percent lighter than the Eriez standard CP model it provides the same high separation performance in terms of strength and reject rate without the weight.

Eriez will also display for the first time at Hillhead, a self-cleaning suspended electromagnet - the SE725 R800 SC2. Eriez’s range of electromagnets benefits from over 70 years’ experience in separation technology and are said to be the ultimate in magnetic separation. Suspended electromagnets are particularly suitable for materials conveyed in heavy burden depths.

In addition to the new CPRE and electromagnet, Eriez will also be exhibiting their popular CP (centre pole) and TP (twin pole) models, which can be selected for specific applications.

To complete the range of equipment on the stand, Eriez will demonstrate one of their industrial metal detectors, the Metalarm MA3500 bridge coil metal detector featuring bag dropper and Eriez Spymet metal locator. The MA3500 is part of Eriez’s wide range of established industrial metal detectors that provide protection to expensive machinery.

The Eriez team will be on stand G11, outside the pavilion. If you wish to make an appointment with one of the team, please contact Sophie Comelli on +44(0)29 2086 8501 or email: [email protected].
