ERA award for Dust Fighter
The European Rental Association (ERA) has judged the Dust Fighter 7500MB its Rental Product of the Year, announced at an award ceremony during the ERA annual convention in Prague.
Suitable for tackling the problem of airborne dust, Dust Fighter is based on a powerful, three-phase electric fan that projects a fine mist with a range of up to 60m. It has an integral generator and 2,000-litre water reservoir and features 360 degree oscillation and remote control functions. Suitable for quarry and demolition operations, it is available for sale or hire in the UK only through ACE Plant of Milton Keynes.
Dust Fighter was recognized for what the judges called a ‘fantastic niche product, and an environmentally important one.’ Frank Cundell, managing director, ACE Plant, who played a significant part in the development of Dust Fighter, commented: ‘When dust gets airborne, dampening down methods of control simply don’t work – it’s too late. That’s why we believe Dust Fighter is an important development that will be welcomed by everyone responsible for controlling on-site dust.’
