Engcon secure major order in Central Europe
Company receives order worth more than €1 million from new distribution partner
ENGCON, specialist manufacturers of tiltrotators, quick hitches, and other excavator accessories, have secured a €1 million-plus order from ZD-Solution KG, the company’s newly appointed distributor for the DACH region.
According to Engcon, the tiltrotator order will help the Swedish manufacturer make inroads into the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets, as Krister Blomgren, CEO of the Engcon Group, described the deal as 'a strategically important order’.
Engcon and ZD-Solution KG signed the partnership agreement in October 2023, which will see the former purchasing Engcon’s tiltrotator bodies and installing them on quick couplers manufactured by other brands, such as Lehnhoff, Likufix, and System Martin.
Mr Blomgren commented: ‘The partnership with ZD-Solution KG allows us to expand our market presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland without creating unnecessary challenges to our own sales and production lines. Taking this crucial initial step in that direction is a positive indicator for the future.’
