Doosan introduce the DL350 wheel loader

Doosan Infracore (UK) have announced the introduction of the DL350 wheel loader, which extends the current range of Doosan wheel loaders to a total of eight models with bucket capacities ranging from 1.5m3 to 5m3.

With an emphasis on performance, reliability, comfort and ease of maintenance, the new 3.5m3 model is powered by a Doosan DL08 7.6-litre common-rail turbocharged diesel engine  featuring an exhaust gas recirculation system. This powerful unit develops 173kW (235hp) and provides a maximum torque of 1,100Nm at just 1,200 rev/min for optimum traction and loading force.

Like all Doosan wheel loaders, the DL350 is equipped with a ZF Powershift transmission and limited-slip differentials, as standard, as well as hydraulically controlled, multi-disc oil-immersed brakes.

With an in-cab noise level of just 69dB(A), together with electronic heating and air-conditioning and a roomy interior with plenty of storage space, the DL350’s cab ensures a comfortable working environment for the operator.

Anti-pitch control and a third hydraulic control valve are fitted as standard and the machine has a choice of two working modes (one standard and one economic), which allows the operator to adapt the machine to the work in hand and optimize the fuel consumption/productivity ratio.

Another feature that helps to reduce fuel consumption is an electronically controlled cooling fan, the speed of which depends on the coolant/transmission temperature. This fan is reversible and can be tilted to facilitate easy maintenance when operating in dusty conditions.

The DL350 offers extended intervals between oil and filter changes, and has a monitoring system that can be accessed via a portable computer to allow transmission status to be verified and various other adjustments to be made, including, for example, compensation for clutch disc wear, without requiring disassembly.
