New purpose-built facility to deliver high-quality staff training and support for improved customer service

DEVELON have opened a brand-new European training centre in Allonnes, near Nantes, in the west of France, dedicated to educating and training dealer personnel, service technicians and demonstrators.

Located close to the beautiful chateaux region of the Loire Valley, the new training centre has been set up to build on strong training foundations, with a relaxing, attractive, and tranquil environment for all trainees attending the facility.

The Develon European training centre consists of a main building with several areas designed to accommodate training. As well as classroom space, the facility also includes offices, workshops, and an impressive 3,000 sq m outdoor test and demonstration area.

Patrice Pesnot, head of training at Develon in Europe, said: ‘The new training centre provides an environment that will help participants to concentrate on Develon products, allowing them to remove themselves from their daily work and focus entirely on the training activities. The facility is dedicated to helping Develon dealers and company personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills in all possible ways, as we believe personal development is the foundation of further dealer performance growth.’

Activities at the Develon training centre will include: dealer service/product training; internal ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions to widen the company’s training capabilities for the European region; virtual classrooms; and site tours to promote Develon and the construction equipment sector in schools/colleges.
