Deutz take on more trainees

IN recognition of the need for more trainees specializing in industrial mechanics and engineering, Deutz AG have recently welcomed 33 young apprentices at their Cologne headquarters.

The new trainees (aged 16 to 21 years-old) have chosen apprenticeships in technical and engineering fields as trainee production mechanics, industrial mechanics, cutting machine operators and materials testers. The trainee scheme lasts from three to three-and-a-half years.

‘I am pleased that these young people have chosen to carry out their vocational training at Deutz,’ said Dr. Margarete Haase, a member of the board of management.
‘It is vital for our future that we train today’s young talent and help them develop the necessary skills for tomorrow. Our trainees play an important role in helping to shape the future of our company. I am particularly pleased that four female trainees have opted to pursue a career in a technical field.’

In Cologne, Deutz currently employ a total of 122 trainees, including those who have recently joined the company.
