Conveyor / Weigher / Sealer
A new conveyor system from Portsdown Engineering features automatic load-cell weighing and sealing.
After filling, the bag is 'slid' on to the conveyor from a tilting platform. The filled bag automatically stops between the sealer jaws which are then activated to seal the bag. When sealing is complete the conveyor restarts and the bag is removed.
The unit can be supplied with nett-weigh equipment and is designed to be added to existing equipment to handle a wide range of products.
