CISF Conference 2012

Cement Industry Suppliers’ Forum to hold this year’s annual conference at Bosworth Hall in Leicestershire

THE Cement Industry Suppliers’ Forum (CISF), which aims to develop contact and communication between the cement industry and its suppliers, is holding its 2012 conference from 25–26  April at the Bosworth Hall Hotel, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.

This year’s programme will bring together speakers from various backgrounds in the industry, including cement makers, analysts, trade associations and suppliers. There will be an overview of the current state of the industry, with an analysis of economic trends and an update on the impact of regulations on the cement industry.

Themes such as maintenance, hazard protection, lime and other materials, low-carbon cements, waste-derived fuels, mobile plant and logistics will be explored; new and recent capital projects will be reviewed; and suppliers will outline technical developments. Suppliers’ presentations from the podium will be supplemented by an exhibition in the coffee lounge.

The fees of £294 for CISF members and £414 for non-members cover full catering from midday on Wednesday 25 April until after lunch on Thursday 26 April, a conference programme of topical presentations, the CISF annual dinner and overnight accommodation at Bosworth Hall.
