Company aims for greater regional focus with appointment of ‘in-market’ technical sales team
MATERIALS washing specialists CDE Global have announced the addition of a number of experienced personnel to the team responsible for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), which the company says will allow for a greater regional focus within these regions.
Commenting on the changes, CDE Global’s sales director, Enda Ivanoff, said: ‘There is huge potential for our equipment throughout the Middle East and Africa, and our successes in the region to date are evidence of this. Our new team structure will allow us to meet the diverse demands throughout the region by providing ‘in-market’ representation from a highly qualified technical sales team.’
Ruchin Garg, business development manager for the Gulf region, will be based in the Middle East where his focus will be on building CDE’s project portfolio in the sand and aggregates market.
Based directly in the market in North Africa will be business development manager Aymen Bennour, who has come through the company’s own development programme having started out in CDE’s engineering department.
In Southern Africa CDE will be represented by Des Crawford, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the global construction materials and mining industry, and will be responsible for building CDE’s project portfolio across the construction materials and mining divisions.
According to Enda Ivanoff, the approach of directly working with the end-user and offering unique custom-made solutions is a key focus for CDE as their global team continues to grow.
‘It’s critical for our customer base that they have knowledgeable CDE team members within their regions to develop the correct technical solutions,’ he said. ‘These recent appointments demonstrate our commitment to this vision – our workforce across the world grew by more than 25% in 2014 and we forecast similar growth this year. A key factor in this growth is our commitment to building in-market teams in all of the seven regions where we operate.’
