CDE announce new distributor for Australia

Perth-based 888 Crushing & Screening to cover Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia

CDE have added to their global distributor network with the appointment of Perth-based 888 Crushing & Screening as their new dealer for Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia. The agreement follows the recent installation of the Northern Ireland company’s first M2500 mobile wash plant in Australia.

Commenting on the new agreement, Henry Neville of 888 Crushing & Screening said: ‘The addition of the CDE washing equipment range to our portfolio opens up the potential for us to further grow our business and complements the equipment that we currently offer. Given the extensive research we have done into the market for the premium washing equipment offered by CDE, we are confident that the over the next few years we will be able to secure a large slice of the washing market in Australia.’

A new washing plant, including the M2500 mobile wash plant and an AquaCycle thickener, has recently been completed for WA Limestone, one of the largest suppliers of road construction materials in Western Australia. ‘Completion of the new plant for WA Limestone will allow us to hit the ground running with the full range of CDE washing equipment,’ said Mr Neville. ‘The presence of a reference site will allow us to demonstrate the efficiency improvements that the M2500, in particular, can offer those involved in the washing of materials for use in a wide range of construction applications.’

CDE say the initial focus will be on the development of business in the sand and gravel and crushed rock sectors, as well as the growing C&D waste recycling market through the introduction of the EvoWash sand washing plant and the M2500 mobile wash plant which offers a feed system, screening, sand washing and stockpiling capability on a single chassis.

‘There are many opportunities for the replacement of inefficient sand washing systems with our EvoWash plant, which has been proven throughout Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa over the last two decades,’ said CDE director Terry Ashby. ‘We look forward to bringing this technology to the market in Australia in partnership with Henry Neville, Colum Igoe and the rest of the team at 888 Crushing & Screening.’

The new agreement brings the full range of CDE washing equipment to Australia including the AquaCycle thickener, RotoMax log-washer and ProGrade screens, as well as a range of conveyors and dewatering screens. For further information visit: www.cdeglobal.com; or: www.888cse.com.au
