Calibre of chain enquiries for Chain+Conveyor up at RWM show

Chain+Conveyor

2012 was Chain+Conveyor’s sixth year at the RWM show and the company has become synonymous with the waste and recycling industry.

Damian Swindells, general manager, said: ‘We were particularly impressed by the high quality of enquiries this year; it’s apparent that the recycling industry is undergoing massive change. Our customers are more focused with increased levels of technological competency, and we’ve seen a rise in multi-site operations and requirements for more diverse applications’.

He continued: ‘RWM is a key exhibition for us providing an excellent opportunity to catch up with many of our OEM customers who exhibit at the show, whilst allowing us to talk to prospective new customers. In fact this year we have already managed to secure business from a customer that we have been looking to work with for some time. A clear indication that our continued presence at the show, along with our reputation as ‘the name you can trust in waste & recycling’, is paying off!’

Chain+Conveyor’s announcement that they have become the sole UK distributors for Sircatene engineered conveyor chain was well received at RWM.

This agreement means Chain+Conveyor can supply the whole spectrum of conveyor chain from their two leading chain suppliers: Sircatene will supply Chain+Conveyor with chain for special applications and standard conveyor chain will be supplied by Donghua.

Mr Swindells added: ‘We are pleased to supply all of the major OEMs in the industry but we are never complacent and recognize that as this sector grows so must we. We are particularly pleased with the number of people interested in Sircatene and their engineered chain. RWM remains ‘the place to be for recycling’ and we’ve already booked space for next year.’
