BULK2010 – Call for Papers
THE Materials Handling Engineers Association (MHEA) has issued a ‘call for papers’ for its forthcoming BULK2010 Technical Awareness Seminar, which this year takes place on 13–14 May at the Blackpool Hilton Hotel.
Providing an opportunity to keep abreast of the latest technical developments in bulk handling worldwide, the seminar will include sessions on: Specialist belt conveying technology; Innovations in ship loading and unloading; Moving towards mobile plant; Twenty-first century chute and transfer point design; and Process equipment – storage and handling.
As well as submissions from MHEA members, papers from non-member companies will be most welcome. All presentations will be 20min in length with a five-minute slot per presenter at the end of the session for questions and discussions.
Anyone interested in presenting a paper at the seminar should email a brief abstract, together with the relevant session and title of the paper, to Steve Clewley, BULK2010 programme organizer, at: steve@mhiservices.co.uk
The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday 19 February 2010. Completed PowerPoint presentations will need to be submitted by Friday 19 March 2010, together with a formal paper (if applicable) in Microsoft Word format.
